how to fix fuel spacer to injector

Four steps:

disassemble injector,clean every apart,assemble,testing

1. Take the fuel injector apart

put the fuel injector into jigs, disassemble every parts and put them on the table straightly. Check up every part of injector, if there’s any rustiness or carbon deposition in the surface,

Clean out the carbon on nozzle & inner of locking nut.

2. Cleaning

first, prepare 2 box clear diesel oil, at least. The most important thing: use toothbrush to  clean every end surface & screw thread of injector body. Clean the both side of the middle block(panel) and all holes, clean the inner of locking nut, end surface of nozzle, etc. make effort to make the needle can slide freely.

Use toothbrush to clean the new fuel spacer in clear diesel oil, get rid of the rust oil of the body, make effort to make the needle of spacer can rotate easily.

3. Assembling

according to dowel pin, assemble the body of injector, fuel spacer, the middle block, & nozzle in order ( pls see the picture). Fix the locking nut to the body, one hand push from tip of nozzle to injector body, in order that the pin won’t be out of hole. Another hand rotate the locking nut.

Put the fuel injector on the jigs, Torque wrenches adjust on 50N·M, tighten locking nut. then roll back 120°, Torque wrenches adjust on 10N·M, tighten locking nut, Torque wrenches adjust on 10N·M again, and tighten locking nut. By this way, the fuel injector can guarantee to work normally.

4. Testing

The fuel injector should be test in test bench for double Conditions of spray & oil return, at least.
